"Ebenezer": our first Annual Church Meeting 

On Sunday 17th March we had our first Annual Church Meeting (having launched last September).

During our morning service we had a great time following the example of the Israelites in 1 Samuel 7:12, as we looked back over the last six months (and beyond) to remember the ways in which God has helped us. This involved us making our own "Ebenezer stone" with all the things we are thankful for (picture below)! Charlie also shared a slideshow of the story behind our church and spoke on the aforementioned Bible passage.

We then had a wonderful time of fellowship over lunch, before our Annual Church Meeting. Charlie gave a report on the year so far (click here for notes about what he shared), Nathan (our Treasurer) gave an encouraging report on the church finances and we elected three new members to our Church Council. We finished the meeting in prayer, looking ahead to what is to come and asking for God's help.
